The consortium Witteveen+Bos, HKV and Eurodite pre-selected for Partners voor Water award

The Eurodite project called “Redevelopment of the Danube Floodplain” is among the 6 finalists in the race for the Partners for Water Award 2012. On 27 of November 2012, during the event Waterproof Partners for Water Award 2012, the organization Partners for Water will offer an award for the most valuable project implemented under their program. So far a pre-selection process took place on criteria like positioning, success and sustainability of cooperation with project partners and the contribution to the world’s water objectives.

In 2011 Witteveen+Bos, HKV and Eurodite implemented a project through which they offered support to the Romanian government in redevelopment of flood plains and wetlands. The main goal was to exploit the knowledge and experience in the Netherlands with handling complicated issues along rivers that are related with floods, environment, agriculture and spatial planning.
