DISC | Dutch Initiative Sustainable Cities

DISC is a public private cooperation programme between Dutch-Romanian-Hungarian companies, knowledge institutes and the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs. Together with Romanian and Hungarian partners in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Timisoara, Budapest and Miskolc, DISC is developing initiatives in the field of integrated urban development which lead to more attractive cities and sustainable business cases. The DISC programme is subsidized by the Netherlands government. The programme runs for three years, which reflects the objective to invest in longer term development of the cities as well as durable relationships with the target groups.

The DISC programme was initiated by Eurodite in 2008. Eurodite guided the subsidy application for the 2g@thereprogramme. The subsidy application was approved in 2009. Eurodite managed the finance and communication of the DISC programme. We were involved in several modules of the programme, in most cases related to EU funding and management of urban development projects.
