The Informed Cities initiative is a European initiative driven by ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability which aims to bridge the gap between research, policy-making, and action in sustainable development, at and for the local level. It is co-produced by Actors of Urban Change and OpenHeritage, the latter being a project Eurodite is currently active in.
Joep de Roo, Eurodite director and member of Linkeroever, will hold a workshop on developing innovative business models during the “Room full of ideas” session on the 16th of October. He will help participants look at their stakeholders and shareholders, their programming mix, and their cost-benefit-risk triangle.
“We will encourage you to act before you think.”
Asked by the forum organisers about his ‘superpower’, Joep said that “[it] is that, when it comes to development issues, I combine a holistic overview with a practice-oriented approach, having an impact ‘on the ground’ and on strategic policy levels.”
