Eurodite is active in the field of strategic development through the G2G (government to government) programme developed by the Dutch Ministry of Economy in partnership with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration. The scope of the cooperation programme is to support the Romanian government in its efforts to draft the New Spatial Strategy for Romania.
On the 7th of September, Eurodite represented by Joep de Roo, together with Mr. Joost Hagens, director of Bureau Buiten and Ge Huismans, on behalf of the Agentshap NL, participated in the G2G Workshop “The role of Functional Urban Areas in Territorial Development Planning” Territorial Development Strategy of Romania.
The objective of the workshop was to discuss and elaborate on possible scenarios of development for the new strategy for Romania in the context of the ongoing process to define new functional and administrative areas within the country.
Mr Joost Hagens, expert in economic strategic development, contributed with a presentation on possible ideas to be kept in mind in this process.
