Following the workshop organized in the City Hall on waterfront development in May 2013, Eurodite, coordinator of the DISC programme, will lead a Dutch delegation formed of representatives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and DISC on a round of meetings with relevant stakeholders to discuss the development of the Somes river and its urban potential on the 15 – 16 of October.

The purpose of the round of meetings is to find out strategic directions of relevant institutions, such as the Regional Development Agency and the Water Board, for the development of the city and be able to coordinate their efforts towards a strategy for the development of the river, as driver for economic and spatial development of the city.
